Invitty Cognitive Solutions ("Invitty", "we", "us", "our") is a cybersecurity and IT solutions company based in Chennai, India, operating the website invitty.com. This policy explains how we collect, use, store, share and protect personal data of visitors and customers ("you"), in line with India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and the Digital Personal Data Protection Rules, 2025.
2. Information we collect
Information you give us directly, when you fill in a form (such as our Get Started, Contact, or product/service enquiry forms) or message us on WhatsApp:
- Full name and, if provided, company name
- Phone number and email address
- City / location you select
- The products and services you tell us you're interested in
- Any additional details or requirements you type into the message field
Information collected automatically, when you browse the site:
- IP address, approximate location, browser and device type
- Pages visited, time spent, and referring website or ad
- Cookies and similar technologies used for analytics and advertising (see Section 4)
We do not knowingly collect sensitive financial information (such as card numbers) through this website โ quotes and payments are handled separately, directly with our sales team.
3. How we use your information
- To respond to your enquiry, prepare quotes, and get in touch by phone, email or WhatsApp
- To follow up on service requests, renewals, or consultations you've asked for
- To send relevant updates or offers about our products and services โ you can opt out at any time by telling us so

4. Cookies, analytics and advertising
We use the following third-party tools, each of which may set cookies or collect data on our behalf:
- Google Analytics (GA4) โ measures how visitors use our site (pages viewed, time on site, general location). See Google's Privacy Policy.
- Google Ads โ if you arrive via a Google ad, Google may use cookies to measure and improve ad performance. Manage preferences at adssettings.google.com.
- Meta (Facebook/Instagram) advertising tools โ we run ads on Facebook and Instagram, and may use the Meta Pixel or similar Meta business tools on this site to measure ad performance and show you more relevant ads (including retargeting to people who've visited our site). Meta may set cookies for this purpose. See Meta's Cookie Policy and manage your ad preferences at facebook.com/adpreferences.
- Cloudflare โ provides security and performance for our website and may transiently log IP addresses to prevent abuse and attacks.
- Google Fonts & Google Maps โ our site loads fonts and, on our Contact page, an embedded map from Google's servers, which may receive your IP address when these load.
You can control most cookies through your browser settings (to block or delete them), though this may affect how parts of the site work.
5. How we share your information
We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with:
- Our own sales and support team, to respond to your enquiry
- Service providers who help us run the site and business โ our hosting provider (Hostinger), email delivery, analytics (Google) and advertising platforms (Google, Meta) โ strictly to perform those functions on our behalf
- Authorities, where we're legally required to disclose information
6. Data storage and security
Our website is hosted with Hostinger and served over encrypted HTTPS. We apply reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect the data you share with us, and limit access to authorized personnel who need it to respond to your enquiry. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we take reasonable steps appropriate to the nature of the data we hold.
7. Data retention
We keep enquiry and contact data for as long as needed to respond to your request and maintain a reasonable business record (for example, quotes, invoices, AMC and renewal history) โ generally up to a few years โ unless you ask us to delete it sooner or a longer period is required by law. Analytics data is retained per Google Analytics' standard retention settings.
8. Your rights
Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and its 2025 Rules, you have the right to:
- Access a summary of the personal data we hold about you and how it's processed
- Correct or update inaccurate or incomplete data
- Erase your personal data once it's no longer needed for the purpose it was collected, unless we're legally required to keep it
- Withdraw consent at any time โ this won't affect the lawfulness of anything done before you withdrew it
- Nominate another individual to exercise these rights on your behalf in case of death or incapacity
- Grievance redressal, as described below

10. Children's privacy
Our website and services are intended for businesses and individuals aged 18 and above. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If we become aware that we've inadvertently collected such data, we'll delete it promptly.
11. Third-party links
Our site links out to WhatsApp, LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, X (Twitter) and an embedded Google Map. These platforms have their own privacy policies, which we encourage you to review โ we aren't responsible for their practices.
12. Cross-border data transfer
Some of our service providers (Google, Meta, Cloudflare, Hostinger) may process data on servers located outside India. Where this happens, we take reasonable steps to ensure it's handled consistently with this policy and applicable law.
