Brands We Are Authorized For

Which firewall is right for your business?

Choose a firewall from the traffic it must inspect, the applications it must support and the continuity your business needs. Compare the proposed appliance with its security subscription, support term and deployment scope. User count alone does not establish the right model; use the buying guide below to prepare a complete requirement.

Not sure? Share your user count, internet bandwidth and branch locations in the enquiry form — we'll send a sizing recommendation with a same-day quote and GST invoice.

Already using Firewall? Renew your license with us — often cheaper

You don't have to renew with the vendor who originally sold it. As an authorized partner we handle Fortinet, Sophos, Cisco, Palo Alto, Juniper license renewals across India — same-day GST quote, multi-year discounts, and a renewal calendar so your protection never lapses. Compare the edition, term and support scope before renewing; savings depend on the offer and your existing agreement.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the price of a Fortinet firewall in Chennai?
The quotation depends on the appliance, security bundle, term, support and deployment scope. Share user count, bandwidth and inspection requirements for an itemised INR quotation with GST. Compare the full bundle rather than an appliance-only price.
Are you an authorized firewall dealer?
Yes. Invitty Cognitive Solutions is an authorized partner for Fortinet, Sophos, Cisco, Palo Alto, Juniper, Checkpoint and SonicWall. Every appliance is sourced through official distribution with valid India warranty and licenses registered to your company.
Do you provide firewall installation and configuration?
Yes — our NSE and CCNP certified engineers handle complete deployment: security policies, NAT, VPN (site-to-site & remote access), SD-WAN, web filtering, IPS and high availability, with documentation and admin training.
Can you migrate from our old firewall to a new one?
Absolutely. We perform like-to-like or cross-brand migrations (e.g., SonicWall to FortiGate) with rule analysis, cleanup and a planned cutover — with an agreed maintenance window, acceptance checks and rollback plan.
Do you supply firewalls outside Chennai?
Yes. We deliver and deploy firewalls across Tamil Nadu, Bangalore & Karnataka, Kerala, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and Puducherry, with remote configuration and on-site visits for project deployments.
Are you a Fortinet wholesale dealer and distributor in Chennai and across India?

Yes. Invitty is an authorized Fortinet partner supplying FortiGate firewalls at competitive dealer and bulk pricing to businesses in Chennai and across India. We handle everything from single units to multi-site rollouts, with genuine licensing, a GST invoice, and full deployment and support — shipped anywhere in India.

Do you supply and install Sophos firewalls in Chennai?

Yes. We are an authorized Sophos partner in Chennai and South India for the full Sophos XGS firewall range — supply, sizing, installation, migration and license renewals, quoted in INR with a GST invoice and backed by local support.

Do you handle firewall firmware updates and security patching?

Yes. Firmware patching is part of our AMC and support scope — we track vendor advisories (Fortinet PSIRT, Sophos, Cisco, Palo Alto), schedule a maintenance window, validate the supported update sequence and expected failover behaviour for HA pairs, and verify the configuration afterwards. Exposed, unpatched edge devices are one of the most common ways Indian businesses get breached — see our note on the Cisco, Citrix and Fortinet flaws under active attack — so keeping firmware current matters as much as buying the right appliance.

How to choose a firewall for your office or branch

Start with the traffic that must keep working when inspection is enabled. Headcount helps describe the site, but it does not tell you how much encrypted traffic, how many connections or which applications the appliance must handle. A proposal should connect those requirements to a model, subscriptions and deployment scope.

Tell usWhy it changes the recommendation
Internet links and peak usageRecord both upload and download peaks, backup links and planned bandwidth upgrades.
Applications and inspectionList business-critical services, IPS, malware prevention and TLS inspection requirements. Raw firewall throughput is not an inspected-traffic guarantee.
Users, devices and sessionsInclude remote access, servers, cameras, guest networks and concurrent connections.
Ports and network layoutSpecify copper/fibre speeds, VLANs, routing, PoE requirements and any switch dependencies.
Continuity and supportState acceptable outage, HA requirements, replacement expectations and who owns updates.

An example: why two 50-user offices need different reviews

Consider two hypothetical offices. One mainly uses email and browser applications. The other sends large design files, hosts services and carries branch VPN traffic through the same appliance. Even at the same headcount, the second site may have different inspection, connection and interface requirements. Measure the workload and compare candidate models under the same security settings; do not turn this example into a fixed user-to-model rule.

Compare the full proposal

  • Hardware model, accessories, rack kit, power supplies and any required optics.
  • Security subscriptions, licence term, logging or management services and support level.
  • Installation, policy review, VPN migration, testing, handover and ongoing administration.
  • Renewal costs and the support lifecycle of the exact model; a low hardware price can conceal missing services.

Renew or replace an existing firewall?

Check the current model, subscription expiry, software support, inspected traffic and recent bottlenecks. Renewal can be sensible when capacity and lifecycle still fit. Replacement deserves evaluation when support is ending, interfaces no longer fit or required controls cannot be delivered. Share the model and expiry first; transfer configuration files only through an agreed secure channel, since they can contain sensitive network details.

Acceptance checks for installation or migration

Agree which applications, VPNs, outbound services and branch links will be tested. Record a configuration backup and rollback decision point, validate logging and failover where included, and identify who receives alerts after handover. A successful login to the firewall dashboard is not sufficient acceptance.

More questions to ask before ordering

Does a 1 Gbps internet connection mean any 1 Gbps firewall will fit?
No. Check throughput under the required inspection features, traffic mix and connection load. Datasheet test conditions differ; validate the proposed configuration rather than matching only the internet speed.
Should we choose high availability or a spare appliance?
That depends on acceptable interruption and operational support. HA requires a compatible design, configuration and testing; a spare requires a replacement and recovery process. Include licensing and support for the chosen approach.
Can a new firewall replace endpoint protection?
A firewall and endpoint protection cover different parts of the environment. Remote devices and activity on a device still need an appropriate endpoint strategy.
What information is enough for an initial firewall quote?
Share site count, users and devices, internet bandwidth, current model, remote-access needs, renewal date and target deployment date. Detailed configurations can be reviewed later through a secure channel.
